Skin Care

15 splashes or 15 seconds - The best thing for skin is to rinse it well. 15 splashes of water at the sink or 15 seconds of rinsing when in the shower fully removes cleanser residue while hydrating the skin. Cleanser left on skin can cause  break outs or further dry out skin.

Shaving 101 - Let shave foam sit on damp skin for a minute or two before shaving. By letting the product sit for a couple minutes itl softens hair and the result is a smoother shave, with less nicks and cuts. Multi-task while waiting by brushing teeth, cleaning ears, and tweezing/clipping stray hairs.

Moisturize 24 hours a day - During the day, use a moisturizer with an SPF. Moisturizers keep skin from dehydrating and protects the skin from the elements For women, it helps makeup go on smoother for men it soothes skin after shaving. At night, use a night cream. Night Creams don't have SPF, and are loaded with nutrients to feed the skin while it is at rest. Skin will look better in the morning.

Serums turbo boost your moisturizer - Serums are concentrated, oil-free fluids that are applied before the moisturizer. They add additional moisture and nutrients to skin and make a moistuirizer work better. Apply serum first and rub in till it is absorbed by skin. Then apply moisturizer. For very oily skin, use serum alone, because your own natural oil locks the serum into the skin.

Apply Eye Creams correctly! - Eye creams are the one product that is most often applied incorrectly. In general, eye creams slightly plump the skin, so if it is put on the bone around the eye, it plumps and smooths out wrinkles. If it is put right below the lashes, it plumps and makes the eye Boldlook swollen and puffy.

Multi-Task with a mask - No time for a mask? Here's an easy way. Wash skin at sink before shower and apply mask. Now take shower and leave mask on while cleaning up. At the end of the shower, rinse off mask. Remember to rinse for 15 seconds. Count "One thousand one, one thousand two..." etc.
